This early Yibb movie was shot with the help of the team from Ripstar, in Kaprun Austria. We owe a lot to them! It demonstrates how boarding on the Yibb isn’t much different from normal snowboarding in the end. You use the same techniques and posture.

The mechanics of the yibb
Dutch engineering magazine ‘intermediair’ asked us to explain the meachanics of snowboarding and the yibb to their readers. This is what happens when you ask a bunch of engineers such a question. Looks pretty complex doesn’t it? Well rest assured, once you’re on the yibb, the math doesn’t matter one bit!
